Wow! I didn't realize what I was starting with this thread. The feedback has been great with a lot of opinions and technical info. I think that this is what a forum is all about. I still need to tackle this project. I decided to lower the car 1" last weekend instead so now this is the next project. Has anyone had any luck with the tri-ax shifter?

it isn't a bad shifter. I was coming from a Hurst (very short throw) and it took me some time to get used to it.

However, I just traded the car in...so no long term results for you

Don't know if others have reported it, but my Hurst Billet Pro Plus shifter handle is loose.

I tightened that thing nicely and well.. it is chatter box loose..The crappy OEM driveline does not help, that's for sure.... going to go in and loctite the heck out of it. Don't get me wrong, I love the shifter, but I think there could be some design improvements still, particularly with the hardware.
