After disconnecting my battery, right when I connected it, this little loosely mounted box under the passenger side dash started clicking. It'll do it for about 10-15 seconds then shut off. I got under there and it has one black/red wire coming out of it, then two different wiring harnesses plugged into it with multiple wires. It has P/N 136-2302 on it, I've looked up that part number and found nothing.

Did you get your battery checked like was suggested in your other post? You really need to resolve that first. This part you are describing sounds like an aftermarket thing.

problem resolved, the box that was clicking was an aftermarket car alarm. also the reason the car wouldn't turn over.

did you ever find out the brand of the aftermarket alarm?
i have it in my 197 but cant find out anything about it.

I'd ask in the audio/visual section, and/or at http://the12volt.com (be quite a few more installers on that board) or even another installers board. From the sound of it, likely a starter-kill relay, as to if it was a dealer install special, or something else, I don't know.
