Sirius Options to stock H/U?
I was just wondering if there's a way to hook up an external Sirius Unit, and be able to utilize the stock Satellite antenna on an 09 GT? Is the stock Satellite antenna wire part of the harness behind the Shaker 500, or can it be unplugged and plugged into a removable Sirius unit? I like to be able to remove my Sirius so I can listen anywhere. Not to mention I've already paid for it for the rest of the year. If anybody has an external Sirius unit, let me know, Thanks???

I have a 2010 Base Mustang. There is a Sirius button but of course it says No Sat Radio.
I would be willing to add a Sat receiver from a wrecked Mustang if I could add it to my radio Head Unit. I know I would need to hook up an antenna but I am confident i could do that. I have even seen a Sat Antenna that screws into a new hole in a fender and looks like a clean plastic piece. If you find out any details for you car, please share.

I already had an antenna on the deck lid, so I ended up just calling Sirius. They had a deal for like $25 for 6 months. I just had them turn on the head unit in the car. Way easier, but the sound quality isn't all that great. Why? I have no idea, but it's definitely different. Plus its kind of a pain to switch channels on the head unit when your used to a remote, and on top of that it really doesn't give you the information automatically like the small units do. I plan on doing a Pioneer upgrade shortly in the future. I'm just spoiled I guess. Good luck
