Default Unreal stupid header install mistake by previous owner.

I bought my car with a Kenne Bell and long tubes installed with about 2000 miles on it after the install.

The guy who sold it got frustrated cause the tuner couldn't get the car to run correctly in closed loop. I had it tuned, runs great open loop, still having issues closed loop.

I have only put 500 miles on the car as I did the entire suspension over this summer.

Joey put the car on the dyno and we saw that B2, S1 O2 sensor was all over the place in closed loop. I checked for vacuum leaks, wiring, etc. I then changed both front O2 sensors. Same issue. It has to be the extenders.

So Joey at Mustang Magic on Long Island says,"Hey make sure the green plugs are in the front and the blue plugs in the rear."

Turns out, the shop who installed the headers flipped the front and rear plugs on B2(drivers side).

I didn't notice it cause they used entenders and they are all blue.

I flipped them and the car is perfect. The guy dropped 2k on his price because of this issue. Gotta love that.

Thanks to Joey at Mustang Magic!!!!

Nice! Have fun with the KB.
When you're ready to increase boost, I have various smaller pulleys for sale (I think I have a thread here somewhere...maybe).

Lol. Funny story, how a guy screwed himself out of potentially two G because he flipped the plugs!

Nice find on your car and Gratz!

I only put 500 miles on the car since I got it.

So I take a break tonight to go for a drive and get caught up in construction for 45 minutes of dead stop traffic. AWESOME!

Finally have the car running great and no time to drive it...

This problem was like when I bought a Chevelle SS and the guy couldn't get it running right. He had the plug order wrong....

Yep, many a good car is sold cheap right
after a plug wire change and the missing
cylinders because of it...

Oh the simple but serious mistake. Bummer for him, great for you. Props to your tuner whom figured it out.

Def. The car feels great now. Too bad the clutch didnt disengage going from2nd to 3rd the other night. Shut off the car, everything was fine. I couldn't get into any gear, clutch wasn't disengaging at all. I posted the problem under https://mustangforums.com/forum/4-6l...then-fine.html.

Weird....
