My tuner just set record for a 4.6 3v
My friend and tuner Kurt Borton(MCP) pilots the 82 Ford Fairmont known as Almond Assasain just ran 8.38 " with a ton more left in it". This is a 4.6 3v Boss block and a F3 Procharger. My hat is off too him. I wouldn't be surprised if this combo has a 7 lurking in their somewhere.

Update ...... this weekend he just ran 7.90 at 172.56 with his blower belt shooting off at the 1000ft mark. he believs there is at least a 7.80 in the car. He offered to sell me his motor , but my little car would get twisted in half with 1340 rwhp. Big thumbs up to Kurt for setting first 7 sec pass with a 4.6 3v.
