suggestions on aftermarket internals????

Default suggestions on aftermarket internals????

just bought a 2007 ford mustang, blown motor within three hours of purchase!!!!!! now rebuilding motor....need suggestions on which aftermarket parts best to use...such as.....pistons, rings, rock arms, etc...

I hope you didnt pay much for it cause someone knew that was gonna happen then

20,000 grand but all is good. Im gonna do it right this time. I cant hold my head down now nice car with a lot mods on it sitting the garage collecting dust. both to drop at least 6 grand it with aftermarket internals. do anyone have any suggestion internals wise. forged pistons, rod, polished n beef the block up 0.30 over. Thats me talking. im pretty sure they have a nice combinations for me. that wont cost over 6 grand.

6k is a lot for internals.
you could just about buy a short block and have it installed for that much, probly a little more.
unless you are doing the the work yourself, i would get a built shortblock.
since the Techo is 3L, you should do a stroker block, cams and heads at the same time while you're at it.
with that big of a SC, bigger displacement and better airflow will really get you a lot of power.

now which short block to get.....

thanks im gonna check into that tonight to see what i can come up with. have prices to have motor rebuild

hp performance 6700 with all forged parts including vavle job dyno and tune

fast lane 6900 with same above

valvoline 6000 with all forged parts valve job with NO dyno

What I heard all shops are great really not many complaints. I think thats on the expensive side. what do yall think

how much more can you stroke the 4.6L jus found out its stroked to 5L already my day isnt going well at all. do any one now how much more you can stroke the motor.

This is what I say to do: ALUMINATOR! Just get $702 more and pay the $6702 for a forced induction prepped 4.6L DOHC Aluminator!
