AC Purge Module F8ZX-19980-AA - Work in 06 Mustang?
I've been reading that Ford makes part F8ZX-19980-AA which cycles the blower motor after the car is shut off in order to dry out the Evaporator.
Does anyone have experience with it and will it work in a 2006 Mustang GT?
I'm struggling with the musty mildew smell from my AC, despite not using recirc AC, running the vent fan for a few minutes before shutting off the car, leaving the vents open and AC off when the car is parked, and using countless cans of Fresh Air or Lysol to temporarily kill the smell.
