Default cut and clamp X pipe?

Hello everyone, new here and am looking for a little insight

I have a pretty stock 06Gt but am getting the itch to start modding it. I am starting off slow with possibly a cut and clam X pipe from AM.

Anyone else running these and how do you like it? Also, which one seems better, Ford or Pypes?
I am running boom tubes but thats all so far, just looking for a little something to set the sound apart from all the rest.

Ford - $124

Pypes - $119

I wouldn't count on one of those to sound much different really. You'll get a little more of the X pipe roar and less of the H pipe burble, but the stock cats really cut down a lot of the sound.

I found a used Magnaflow catted X on ebay that I bought for $300 (shipped), and I definitely like it. The sound is awesome, but there is more drone due to it being so loud. I was surprised at the volume difference even with the cats.

Also if you do the mod at least buy the Ford Racing pipe. The Pypes one is made in china.

Thanks for the input!
Maybe saving for a tuner and cai will be the most rewarding and worth the wait.
