yea, and turn off the sheitter 500 or 1000 BEFORE
you turn off the ignition.
This forces the sheitter 500 or 1000s amplifiers to
shut off. Get a batt tender and a battery disconnect switch
for long periods of storage. And some StaBil gas stabilizer.
The 10% ethanol blended into the modern fuels
does not stay blended for very long and this causes all
sorts of problems...

Battery tender will work. For long term storage a gel cell battery is a better choice.
