Smile New Michelin Tire

I have been reading nothing but glowing reviews on Michelin's new Pilot Super Sport tire. Problem is, they don't come in my 235/50-18 size for my '06 GT 'vert. I have sent several emails bugging Michelin to offer them in my size. I just received a note from Michelin stating my Mustang size Super Sport will begin production in late Feb. of 2012. I was planning to buy a set of the Pilot A/S Plus tires this spring, but I really wanted the Super Sports, now it looks like I'll get them. The SS is only like $2 a tire more than the A/S Plus from Tire Rack, and out does the A/S in every catagory. Looks like Sally is getting some new shoes.

If you haven't heard about this tire, look into it.

Hey,

Im after those tires too. I went yesterday to a Michelin shop but they are selling me each tire at 400 bucks!! I think thats too expensive.

Can you tell me how much are they selling at USA, Im from Mexico City.

I think that shop wanted to take advantage of me they say if i pay with credit it will be 500 bucks, so i will be looking for another deal.

Those tires look really nice!

I priced them here, locally at a place called Tire Discounters. They said $283 ea. That includes free mounting ,lifetime balancing, disposal and lifetime rotation. I buy a lot of tires from them and they're never charged me to repair a puncture. I'm planning to buy 2 sets of the new SS this summer, one for my 'Stang & one for wifey's Miata.
