musty smell removal?
I got an 05 gt with a little problem has the charcoal interior with leather
a while ago, my parents borrowed the car and i guess they either went food shopping or something, cuz a few weeks later i found a small jar of peanuts under the rear seat.
lately the car has had a musty smell of peanuts. tried everything to get rid of the smell, but it wont go away.... does leather trap odors? i think the oil in the peanuts seeped through the container or somehing
i found this online, think it will kill my problem dead? been searching online and cant find an answer

I had a Dodge Intrepid with a musty smell and I sprayed Lysol into the cabin filter while the heater fan was running. I did this from the engine compartment into the cabin filter inlet. Not sure you have a similar issue or not.

I am not sure if this helps, but try getting some AC vent spray and do like Kzonts did: spray into the intake inlet inside the cabin. It worked for me.
Alternatively, dismount the passenger side guard on the windshield to get at the cabin filter and spray Lysol or AC vent cleaner directly into that with the AC fan running.
Here is my own odyssey of my dilemma of my car stinking with some sort of funk:
