x-pipe question

Hey I have a 2008 Ford Mustang GT with a Roush Performance Extreme CatBack Exhaust system.

I'm looking at getting an catted x-pipe because of emissions. Does anyone have any suggustions on a good catted x-pipe.

There are probably a million opinions on what brand to buy. There are a bazillion threads on here about this particular subject. Use the search option and you should have research material for days. Also welcome to the forums.

How well tooled are you and how handy are with the tools? I have the FRPP x-pipe. If you have a sawzall and a good set of jack stands, you can have it installed in about an hour and retain the stock cats for minimal cost. If you are trying to replace an off road mid pipe with a catted one, you will need to look elsewhere. There are a ton of options available.

If you are worried about emissions, my hi-flow Bassani catted x-pipe can pass just fine. Good quality piece too.

Look at Pypes. Good product and one of the less expensive.

I got the BBK catted Xpipe and couldn't be happier.

They currently have a special that gives you $30 for every $100 you spend up to $90. $460-$90=$370 out the door.
