Default Car thirsty for Oil

So i did my third oil change, first at 1500, second at 3000, and now this one at 6000 miles. The second oild change i put synthetic in and when i just changed my oil for 6k miles i only took out 5 quarts, it has a 6 quart capacity, so i think it ate 1 quart. Anyone else have this happen?

I hear synthetic stick to the metal better, so maybe that quart is still up in the engine, evenly coating everything...

not sure about this, just a guess...

I just put synthetic in mine last oil change, so I won't know myself until my next change.

Same thing always seems to happen with me and all of my vehicles. I think it is nearly impossible to get ALL the oil out - none of us have the patients to wait overnight, or shake the car around I imagine that there are certain nooks and crannies up in there that hold oil, plus you figure maybe a half of quart or so is in the filter. If you are draining a quart less than you put back in, I consider that normal.
