07 GT White w/red leather 19K Miles. Should I buy it?
I currently own a black 08 V6 pony package with 30K miles. Local dealer has an 07 white GT with red leather interior and only 19K miles. I have always preferred white cars and regret buying this black car soon after I bought it a few years ago.
I'm up in there air because I am drawn to the increased HP with the later models stangs but absolutely love the S197 body.
If I got a decent trade value on my V6 and a decent purchase price on the GT my loan would go up $10K from what it is now and the car would be one year older, but with 10K less miles.
Who out there has an 07 GT? Even those who don't .....give me some input.
Do I just keep my 08 for a few more years and wait for a used 11 or 12 with increased HP or jump on the S197 white GT now?

I'd hold off: a). Because even the 05-09GT have become outdated. Even more-so (i'd assume) once the redesign rolls out. b). You have (by the sounds of it) a nice, low mileage mustang in your own right. c). I don't support going even more into debt or taking adding onto loans for "fun toys". You never know where your gonna fall on hard times.
So, I'd wait. Dunno what the prices are over there by I'm finding 11' GT's coupes (left-overs) for around 28 29K.

Its hard to say whats good for your situation. Going into debt sucks but sometimes its worth it. Figure out your budget including gas, insurance, car pmt etc...and then decide if you can actually afford it. Nothing wrong with a 07. Car companies come out with bigger and better every few years to get us to buy new cars every few years. Dont buy into it.

What are they offering you with a trade? If it's within $2k, I'd do it. Nothing like a V8. I have my '07 GT and my wifes '06 Pony side-by-side in the garage. I gnash my teeth when I have to drive the V6. It just is NO comparison to the feel. And the fuel mileage is only about 1-3 MPG less with the GT, even with the 3:55's in the GT and the 3:31's in the Pony.

These numbers seem hypothetical at this point. There's nothing wrong with going to the dealer just to work out some numbers so you really know what you're looking at. You could even test drive it for comparison...unless you've already decided you want a V8, then negotiations could get dangerous. lol
If you're looking at a difference of $10k, then to me it's not worth it for 2 more cylinders. I agree with sonicx. It's just not wise to go deeper in debt on what is already financially the worst investment we make on a purchase (due to quick depreciation). But if the difference is only a handful of car payments, it's a viable option. I bought my 09 GT with 19k miles on it, and it was just like driving it off the lot new.

Thanks for the input, I've decided to stick with what I have. It's almost paid off and is in great shape.
Plus....I realized the GT is an automatic. No offense to anyone out there with an automatic, but I prefer a stick in a Mustang. My other vehicle is a Tacoma, that is an automatic.
Thanks again.
