new model year

as with any major change in design, are there any bugs that needed working out with the 06/05 gt's? I plan on dropping a couple c-notes for deposite on a 06 gt. Is there anything I should be concerned about? I already turned down one gt, minor ripple in the roof, with a tell tale dullness in the finish.......It was in a wreck. Guy that had it had a few mods installed, (stickers on the trunk lid), But the one I'm eyeing now had a power mudule change, and thats it.........I already test drove it, It's a beast. I'm ready too drop the dime on it, I just wanna be sure the model year isn't a lemon year. Any help from you pony pro's! ? Thanks in advance.:icon_playing:

There are lots of issues that some guys have with them, the same as any other car, I have not had any issues with my 06. Replaced 1 window switch on warranty but other than that I have 90,000 trouble free miles(lots of abuse and racing). A guy I know from work has an 07 V6 and his is in the shop every other week for different issues with the engine and trans and he doesn't even drive hard.

Only problem ive had in mine was human error from previous owner.
Other then that my last 5 months have been smooth.
Would probably suggest you read over some of the tsb's
Only one I have found that concerns me is the fuel pump cavitating and causing hesitations on long drives, but it isnt big enough of a problem to replace the pump and is easy enough to live with at the moment.
Also make sure when you clean it you get the leaves out of the nook's and crannies or you get the passenger floorboard TSB
