2012 GT Stock to GT500 Exhaust
So for my first mod I went with the GT500 axle back...
I have heard good things about the GT500 cans and that it would make a good combo with my off road H plans later on. Also, I think OEM quality is unbeatable for the price you can pick these up for, and the tips look great IMO.
I was referred to Jeff at topgearsolutions.com and contacted him directly and told him what I was looking for. The price I got these for was better than anything else I could find so I had him order them for me. Not only was the price great, I got them at my door in less than 24 hours!! I talked to him and he agreed to give forum discounts for Mustangs as he is currently building inventory...if you don't see it, contact him! If you contact him tell him the code 0406.
Needless to say, install was easy...To make install easier I twisted new clamps until they fell off and removed the remaining material with some big pliers. Removing the new clamps from the AB allowed me to install the new mufflers without having to move the brace. With the clamps on I could not get the inside hangers to line up with the corresponding hole. I also bent both inside hangers slightly upward to make it even easier. I feel like I am driving a Mustang now...
Here are some before and after clips for the heck of it...
