I have stock TB as well. I am going to TSS in the next few weeks for a CAI and custom tune. I will have them check it out.

I just acquired my daughter's 2006 Mustang GT because she was tired of how difficult the car was to drive. She's owned it since new,but when I got it recently,it had cold surging along with an overly slow idle speed that caused it to periodically stall out.The gas pedal also had a 1/4" to 1/2" dead space before it would come up in rpm.The car is an automatic. This morning,I removed the throttle body, leaving all wires still connected.I simply rolled it over and saw that there was a coating of soot behind the blades.Using TB cleaner spray and paper towels,I cleaned the entire back side of the TB.It took quite awhile,as 82,000 miles built up a nice coating.I used my fingers to force open the blades as I sprayed and wiped. Here's the result: there is no more pedal dead space. The rpm's are at around 700 at idle (was about 500). No more surging. I can leave traffic lights smooth or hard, and without the dead space delay. Response is just as it was five years ago.
I was completely blown away by how TB Soot changes everything for the worse. Try this yourself!

Thanks Edman much appreciated. I went down and got the CRC TB cleaner about $6.00 took off the TB and to my surprise it was caked with all kinds of soot. I cleaned it all off and some of this may be my imagination but I drove the car and right away I could feel a difference with responce. Drove it a little longer and drove it to where the car almost everytime gives my the 1/2 inch of no pedal and bam, it is was right there. I am pretty sure its going to be okay now. See in the week to come. Cheers!!!!

Thanks again Edman
I'll keep everyone posted.
