Default Long tube headers

I'm considering purchasing a set of long tube headers and xpipe for my daily driven 2005 Roush Sport. I have a couple of questions I hope some of you folks can help answer.

What headers would you recommend? I do more "show" than "go" right now so I want a set that will look good and perform well. Currently considering the BBK stainless.

As for the xpipe, would you recommend catted or non-catted?

I'm also concerned about ground clearance. Anyone have any issues with long tubes in this regard? I am currently running stock springs but may lower the car at some point in the future.

Currently the only mods on my car are an Airraid CAI and 93 race tune from Bama. I might be adding FRPP hot rod cams and the FRPP intake in the near future as well.

Any guidance/insight you good folks can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks much.

I have Pypes long tubes and zero issues with clearance and mine is lowered 2 inches so it's pretty low. Catted or non catted, depends on your preferance. No cats will free up lil horsepower and add a good bit of overall volume to your exhaust note.

if you have to pass emissions by sniff test in your state you'll need cats. I'm guessing that no cats would throw a CEL as well unless your tune will trick the car into thinking there are cats for post-O2 sensors.

I don't have emissions testing here so that wouldn't be a problem. Just wondering if there is any disadvantage to running with out cats.

You will need a tune regardless.

Get ceramic coated and they will maintain their shine.

Aftermarket cats suck. Go catless.

Pick a brand.

I have considered the ceramic coated but have seen a few posts regarding rust issues with those. Rusting from the inside out maybe? Anyone have any experience with this sort of issue?

Im from Neb. (if you did not already know, we invented rust here) and ive had no issues ever. they've been on for about a year. However this car does not see snow but has seen the salt on the roads considering we put salt down in July in anticipation of snow to come, but no issues for me
