I found somebody selling some used rims/tires. They are 20" Axis GTR black wheels (5 spokes) as seen here

Pirelli Rear 305-30-20 (10'' wide) (80% tread)
Nanco Front 255-35-20 (9'' wide) (50% tread)

The guy has them on his lowered 07 GT so I am assuming these will fit without rubbing on a stock suspended '12 GT?

Price is 600 bucks. Seems like a pretty good deal. The rims are close to 1500 plus the tires another 1500.

I'm not seeing the offset listed but if they were on a lowered '07 they should fit your 12. I just hope you don't lose too much performance. Those things must weigh a lot. And I think 20's look like wagon wheels on about 99% of the S197's and the lack of sidewall rides even worse.

Ya that is one thing I was worried about (weight/look). I am low on funds so its probably a good idea to just skip on them. BUT I would love to have some fat 305's on the back! I do wonder how much they weigh. Probably a TON. I have 3.31's as it is so it takes a lot longer to rev out than a 3.73 car.

What is the average weight difference between an 18 and a 20 (both having the same size width/height tires on them)??
