ok i bought tuned length because i already had a off road mid pipe and didnt want to have to buy a new one fo rlong tubes. so i got my tuned length and they look good nothing like the shorties, the pipe bends are longer, but what im asking is there really any differance in the two? i was told tuned length is better because it equalizes back pressure and shorties just change the sound a lil. i havent put them on yet so i dont know if there will be a differance in power yet. so i guess what im im asking is whats so special about tuned length?

From what i hear you will have a better header with equal lenght vs shorty. Also if its not FI/cammed you wont get the full effect but at least you will pickup a little more power and a different sound. Just put them on and enjoy the car let us know if you notice a difference!

It doesn't make a difference. Unless you are making BIG power and switch to long tubes, you won't see any difference between the stock manifolds and any other header.
