Thanks for all the advice guys! I'm gonna go with an automatic, not because I can't drive a stick but because it drive 92 miles round trip to work everyday...in traffic and doing on my 5spd Ranger SUCKS!
The new taillights are darker and look a lot better imho.
Soon as my wife gets her hiring bonus in Johnson County I'm going to a dealership!!

I'm Planing on waiting till the 13's hit then scoop up an 11-12 5.0 from the dealer. Does anyone have any advice to go into this situation? this will be my third mustang, but first time buy from a dealer. thanks guys!

Crossroads Ford in Cary and Capitol Ford in Raleigh usually have a lot of Stangs on the lot. Might want to look at their websites.

wait until after june and/or keep a lookout online. Last year ford did 0% financing for 72 months on the 11 GT's. Let me get mine for the same as custom ordering a 12 V6 with the same goodies.

I was at Crossroads Ford last night, looking at Mustangs. They have like 5 or 6 GTs, and they are all stick shifts. There's a gorgeous red one I wouldn't mind. Sorry, this is my first post too, whats up everyone!

I had to order mine, couldn't find one with the options I wanted. (they don't seem to order many automatics around here).. I do prefer the 2013 over the 2011-12. You should be able to order a 2013 now.

Mustangs don't lose their value as quickly as other cars. just haggle them down to a reasonable amount, never pay sticker. You wont typically get invoice price on them though. I was fortunate enough I get z-plan pricing through my employer (fleet pricing) so i paid just a bit more than invoice, sticker was 36k and i paid 32k with 5k down from my '07 trade in.

I picked up my '12 gt premium in sterling gray about 3 weeks ago. Build date was 12/11. Sticker price was 36k, i got it for 30.5k after 1000 cash back and 1000 previous ford customer cash and i got 0% financing for 60months. Hard to pass up a deal like that, plus i dont like the looks of the 13's. They look to rounded or soft or something. Cant really put my finger on what it is i dont like.
