I wouldn't. Unless you were just going to preserve it. But I wouldn't buy a 3-4 year old "new" car. There's gotta be something wrong with it. Then again you didn't supply much detail. Try kbb but personally I don't like verts.

Same. I would not buy a 'new' multiple year old car.

I was looking at an '08 GT500 coupe with quite a few mods, 44k miles and dynoed at 525 RWHP. The dealer was asking $34k which I think is overpriced so no way would I spend $39.5k on the '09 vert.

wow, i'm in the minority...I'd say that if properly maintained it's a gem, specially if it's in vapor silver, but as far as price I'm not knowledgeable since I'm not in the market for a gt500...Nuke may be right on?!?

Wait till the new 200mph ones are for sale. The 07-09's already took a hit when the new model came out, this new one is going to knock a few off again. Think mid to high 20's for a good one. If I where in the market now 34 would be on the high end. Honestly, if you buy one of these have it be completely stock, and if not at the dealer, have the dealer do a pre-buy inspection.

Never buy a new old car. People usually park them and don't do their yearly maintenance like they should. Even a car sitting needs maintenance. Why do you think you see cars at the dealership idle in a row at times? Fluids have to move.
