Exhaust - no mufflers - too loud, need alternative.

Cut mufflers, welded tip. I still have the stock exhaust but I still want a little bit more of an aggressive tone, without the drone and popping/being too loud. Youtube has the videos but its hard to judge.

Plenty of options. What are your future mod plans? If you planning LTs and or cams you should shop for a muffler that will sound good with them.

I just bumped the exhaust thread, you can listen to different things. The Boomtubes I found are the best on the 05-07. you wont get drone as long as you dont do gears.. i had 4.10s in my 07 automatic and it put me at like 2800rpm at 80mph in 5th, pretty bad drone there. before I did the gears it was good, no drone.
