There's so much more to picking a rear gear than just "Which ones should I get?" The questions you need to be asking are: What is the primary purpose of the car? (AutoX, drag, commute) What size rear tires will I be running? (Taller tires need more gear, but there are tradeoffs) Am I willing to make sacrifice fuel mileage and top end for acceleration? A lot goes into it and a lot of testing and planning goes into picking the right gear. Typically, it should be a supporting mod to compliment your other mods. It's an expensive mod to just jump into without knowing what you really need.

Alright thanks for the tips my car is a manual, I have 2 miles per day of highway driving and occasional interstate if I go to the closest mall. I mainly drive around town and I love to stomp on the gas < (p.s im only 17)

I believe its a 3.89.
In every shop I've been in, people use 3.89 and 3.90 interchangeably. Pretty much the same for 4.10s and 4.11s. Everyone knows what the other guy is talking about and people stop correcting each other after a few hours on the job.

Motiv = 3.90
Richmond = 3.89

Close enough to be the same to me.

Besides making crappy noisy gears, Motive rounds their ratios up.
Seems like it is also close enough for them as well...

You have 3.55 gears in that stock 2005. Going to a 3.73 is not going to make too much difference. How many miles on the car? Many miles means the gear switch will include new bearings; that brings the price up on the install a bit.

I switched my stock gears out 5 years ago to the 4.10's. I also have a manual with Hurst short throw shifter and it is not my daily driver. You will see a big difference in 1st and 5th gear ~ and you will fall in love with 2nd and 3rd!

But the top end and the gas mileage suffers.
Stock the 05 doesn't run out of gear, it runs out of power. I have factory everything, so I could not get past 145mph in 5th. But all pull is gone after going into 5th anyway. 3.55's take you up to ~140 in 4th, 3.31s will probably take you to the limiter if you are stock. By that time you are flying anyway, no need to be concerned with theoretical top end you are going to miss. It becomes a more realistic top end, especially if you are planning mods.

I don't have calculations, but I read that with 4.10s you'd run out of gear at 175... I would fret not...

yep, i had 4.10s in my 2007 and really liked it, gas mileage on the hwy went down about 3mpg, if you can handle that mpg hit then go for it I say. and buy FRPP, other gears tend to whine in these cars. gears are only $200, so might as well buy good stuff. Also find someone good to install it, the install should cost no more than $400 tops, $250 is a great price. anywhere between is fine.
