Default Exhaust questions

I have been looking at the different cat back systems that are offered. I have narrowed the choices down to bassani, magnaflow, or borla. Found borla to be the most expensive at about 1,500 and the magnaflow at about $850. Saw a deal with bassani where you also get the X pipe included for 1,000. Just seeing what you all thought. I haven't seen many people with the bassani set up. Any help would be appreciated.

No problem!

We have the Magnaflow street cat-back for $748.95 and the competition cat-back for $809.95.

Shoot me a PM if you're interested.

I will definitely keep that in mind. Guess just wanted some feedback on the bassani. See a lot on the magnaflow and borla systems

I've seen alot of folks saying the Bassani system has alot of drone.

"That being said, I get drone at ALL gears at 2,000 RPM, worst offenders are 2-4th gear."

"I have the full bassani cat back that includes the X-pipe and it still drones. Sometimes it's real bad with the windows up, but less so with the windows down. Other than changing out the mufflers, I don't know what will fix the drone."

"I got my mufflers installed and the system drones (or whatever you call a low frequency head-ache inducing resonance) between 1500-2200 RPM, but it's absolutely TERRIBLE 1900-2000 RPM."

Just from this thread: http://www.moddedmustangs.com/forums...l-how-fix.html
