Default Misfire under load

I've been dealing with this for awhile, but since my car gets used 1 or 2 times a week, it hasn't been top priority. It idles fine and occassionally stumbles a little on start up.

I had similar symptoms with the Accel coils and switching back to stock cured the problem. The missing was much worse when the Accels took a dump. I pulled the spark plugs and they all looked fine. When the accels were causig a misfire, one plug was obviously wet.

No misfire codes ever! Today I decided to swap the 4 drivers side coils for 4 of the Accels that I believe are still good( two of my accels look bloated on the top). Car accelerated so much better, not perfectly smooth, but very noticeable improvement. I choose the drivers side because LTFT's are always about 4% higher on that side, except at idle, they are both the same.

It even accelerates nice an smooth on my dirt road, well, accelerate isn't the proper term, but it spins nice and smoothly.

So now I'm looking at $340 for 8 new motorcraft coils. What do i have to do to get this car to set a misfire code?

Who has had to replace a stock COP?

I generally don't see our coils going bad, but it happens. How long since new plugs?

The plugs have about 10,000 miles on them. I see a lot of posts about the stock 2v coils going bad.
