hit the track tonight with sensor unplugged. Ran 12.66 @ 108 mph.

I still don't know what to do

A little light reading about the VCT system.

Did you ever verify the coil on plugs were working? may I suggest swapping the cops from the passenger side to the drivers side, just to see if the car still drives well wit the passenger side cam position sensor unplugged, but the passenger side cops on the drivers side.

After googling your problem, I read that unplugging the cam sensor will cause the computer to fire the plugs twice for some reason, something about waste spark.

I'm just throwing crap out there now, I don't really have any other ideas, unless your passenger side cam is somehow 180 degrees out compared to the drivers side, which isn't possible, since you haven't removed the cams.

Just looking at the video, tells me the rev limiter has defaulted too stock tune.. But I'm just going by what I saw. and the description the op gave.

Anyhoot, I'm looking at some racing stripes.....thinking 3d carbon from 3m......wonder what THAT will do too my rates....lol......( stupid atempt to get back on topic)

So it was the alternator. Now it makes sense why unplugging the passenger side cam sensor fixed the problem. Well it didn't fix it, but it bypassed it.

should've ran quicker with aggressive tune. The car is bone stock now and for sale.

strange not many have experienced the same issue. Only a couple of posts mentioned the code and the solution.
