Cat Back Exhaust - no gains with the catback or axleback, only sound improvement. And the axleback is cheaper.

Cold Air Intake - A CAI is useless and provides little gains on these engines without a good tune. Check out Brenspeed and AM for their CAI/custom tune packages which include the tuner and their pre-loaded tunes. You can chose what tunes you want but if you get an economy tune (which MIGHT gain you 1-2 MPG) we'll take away your man-card.

Enlarged Throttle Body - No gain on an S197 unless your SC'd or HEAVILY modded internally and with other breathing mods. Also, amny of the installs have gone bad.

OBD Tuner - See the Colad Air Intake comment above.

isn't that the special edition breast cancer awareness mustang? I don't think that's a bad thing...

and like Nuke said, don't waste money on cat-back exhaust or throttle body, just CAI+Tune, you can get axle-back exhaust and see the same benefit... I'd recommend MAC Boomtubes, nice deep loud sound a little drone at some RPM, good with stock gearing. not as raspy as the loudmouths.

jegs and heartthrob claim 21.7 hp gain from going to a 3 inch catback H pipe sytem

http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS-Performan...31161/10002/-1

heartthrobs dyno and video http://youtu.be/_MGRvx5RRDw

And my thread on these claims https://mustangforums.com/forum/5-0l...m-catback.html

Are you sure that a catback wont give any hp? These manufactures claim otherwise.

What do you say - I have some boom tubes to sell you~! I LOVED THEM, great tone and you can save about $130 buying from me $200 plus shipping.

Like all stated - throttle body is a waste, especially the BBK just according to reviews I've read. FRPP is the best one and it's almost $600. Again, according to what i've read about them. NO PERSONAL EXPIERENCE.

I always preferred the 93 performance tune. Race is a little hard to drive and street is for people who want to save gas. Who cares romp it, stomp it, drive it. Use something smaller for gas; 4 cylinder.
