Default Eibach Pro-Kit vs FRPP M5300-P Springs

There's a couple sets of springs for sale on craigslist near me,
FRPP M5300-P springs and Eibach Pro-Kit springs. Can someone explain the differences? Is one set softer than the other? Which set should I buy? I have a '06 Mustang GT with a CAI, and tune.

I've had the Eibach Pro Kit springs and they were the perfect drop and ride I was looking for. It was about a 1.5" lowering front and back and the ride quality felt almost like stock but defintely stiffened up with more aggressive driving.

I just put the Eibach Dub series springs on. They are tons better the the brembo pkg springs. They advertise as 1.5" rear and 1" front. I don't suppose I'll notice much of a handling difference between the two. Specially beings I put in LCA's at the same time. Not sure which I'm more happy with. Lack of wheel hop or a halfway decent ride.

P's will drop about an inch all around, the eibachs about 1.5" all round. It's a question of how much drop you are after, I doubt there will be a noticable difference in ride quality other than the lower drop being more ridgid.

I disagree. Mine went from being rattle your teeth stiff to smooth as silk. But I have/had the brembo package springs.

Usually, less travel in suspension = more ridgid ride.
so idk what made yours different.

Really? Ive been thinking about lowering mine too, but as stiff as it is stock, i didnt want lowering springs to make it any rougher. The brembo cars are definitely stiff stock, it gives my wife a headache when she rides with me.

Pro Kit springs are lower. I don't know the spring rates on the FRPPs, but the Pro Kit springs ride nice. I have the UPR Pro Series springs on my car, which are manufactured by Eibach to the same specs as their Pro Kit springs.

My two suggestions are to cut the top nubs off the bump stops in the back so you have a little more clearance, and buy an adjustable panhard bar to recenter the rear axle after the drop.

Here is the PHB:

^^Made in America, Lifetime Guarantee, and $135 with the MF.com discount.

Here's my '06 GT on the UPR Pro springs:
