Default How Do You Make a 4.6 Go 200mph?

I was just wondering, and I'm being purely hypothetical, how would one go about making an 05-09 Mustang GT hit the magic 200mph number?

Even an FI 4.6 won't breach the 160-170 MPH, tops, without some SIGNIFICANT HP. It's related to aerodynamics and the power to overcome. You'd have to plop an engine from NASCAR into your GT amongst other things that'll keep the wheels from flying off and drive line from self-destructing.

What.... 145-150 MPH bone stock isn't good enough for ya'? LOL!

Haha, eventually I'd like to hit 165 just to say I can out run my friend's Corvette speedometer but it really was one of those, "is it possible?" questions haha

Now I just need to find a place to GET to those speeds haha. In my old v6 I could hit 125 out on a state highway, but by the time I get to 150, I'm going from town to town in less than 2 minutes haha

By my calculations, thats about a mile every 24 seconds, and there are about 3 miles between 2 towns, I'm going from town to town in 72 seconds haha

Write out a 25K check to your tuner and drop off your car.

In all serious-ness, I think you'd need around 700RWHP, which means everything is beefed up, 6-speed trans, carbon fiber driveshaft, forged bottom end, turbo(s) or a big supercharger and race gas.
