05 gt and v6 grille swap?

Hey might be a dumb question cause they're the same car but just making sure can I swap my gt grille out with plain v6 model grille? I like the look with out the fog lights so I was wondering

The v6 front end is different from the gt. if you managed i would imagine there would be gaps.
You can but a GT grille off am sans the fog lights
