Default *Update* on my car deal.

Signed the papers on a New '12 Ingot silver tonight. They gotta go get it, its a ways away. I lost $500 on my salvage title trade. Still getting $1,750 for a junk trade. Got the 5.0 for $25,300. I about walked out right before signing the papers. Because I just wasnt sure if I was going to love the color (not my first choice). So I said I was leavin because I was told 24,500 for a diff car that was gone now, this one has no 3.73 gears . I basically juiced em out of everything else they had. And I got window tint and 1 free year of oil changes, and they knocked $500 off my 120k bumper to bumper warranty. Will be here Wednesday and they know that I am serious when I told them that if I dont' love it, I aint takin it. So will I be happy with this color? thank ya'll. Oh and I asked them about dealer installing the gears, they said it voids the warranty. I was like I'll have to check on that one.

Still a great deal. And 3.73s won't void the warranty. Sounds like you really scored on a nice Silver GT.

Sounds like a great deal, despite being a 12' leftover.

the additional warranty is poop and the 1 year of free oil changes probably will equate to one oil change or less D:

congrats on the car though - the color will grow on you, it's clean.

I wouldn't sweat the 3.73s. In fact, I probably wouldn't even bother upgrading to them. My car came with them and they are great but with the 6 speed they are almost overkill.
Enjoy the new car either way though!

Think I will drop the 120k warranty then. I know from what I've researched I can cancel it now and won't owe a penny on it.

Better deal than I got. My car wouldn't have lasted very long at the dealer and they weren't willing to work with me as much because they knew it would be sold soon. It was as base as you could get. I got it for 28k (including GAP insurance) without trade in, no money down, etc.
