I agree 100%.....Maintenance is all it takes to keep cars running to 200K.

You can now floor it!

There's a TSB on the separater plate in the S197 main forum stickies. I wouldn't worry about it unless you're hearing a buzzing noise at a certain RPM range. It's an issue (one of many if you read thru the TSB's) that has affected a very small population of S197's.

It used to affect me. Now it only does for about the first 5 minutes of driving. Since its nice and warm outside now, everything fits good and tight.

I changed my fuel filter this weekend. Oh God, it was bad.

Also, do some research and find out if your car has a cabin air filter. Pain to get to but they can clog up your airflow pretty good if you don't change it. (Or are blissfully unaware you have one until the Texas climate reminds you that, hey, it's really hot and isn't cold air nice?)

Very good point. My wife’s last vehicle we purchased with 58K at 95k we were thinking the AC sucked. Googled it and behold the famous CABIN filter. Ebay sells them... WORLD OF DIFFERENCE.

Good note JFitz - the little things that mean so much.

the cabin air filter is really easy to change. just take off the plastic around the wiperblades on the passanger side and you can reach the filter. $14 at autozone. made a huge diffrence in my AC and my car just had 35k miles when i changed it.
