Hey guys I was recently in a 07 sgt that had FRPP headers SLP x pipe and SLP loud mouth mufflers.. I'm getting my own 2007 mustang gt this week and wanted to know how much different it would sound if i just got the SLP loud mouth mufflers with no x pipe or FRPP headers?

More quiet but still louder than stock. SLP Loud Mouths would have been my 2nd choice over my FRPP Stingers. Get the LM's and then if it's not loud enough, you can continue modding. Matter of fact, you can count on more modding. Goodbye, savings...

Sweet. I lived in Paducah for 2 years and bought my current SUV from Marion Toyota. I used to drive from KY to the Chicago burbs every 2 weeks, up I24 to I57.

Headers add a little bit of crispness to the sound, which is cool, but going from the stock h-pipe to an offroad x-pipe makes a BIG difference in sound!

I added the UPR off-road x-pipe to my '06 GT and it sounds MUCH MUCH better, even with the super quiet GT500 mufflers. The good news is that it's an easy install, and our x-pipe is only $158 with the mf.com discount.

The car I was in had cats.. it was the slp x pipe with slp lm
How much different would it sound if i got a different x pipe with cats and slp lm. slp x pipe is pretty pricey
