Wanting and finding what you want are really two different things
when dealing with S197s rim choices. Maybe have the open
portions welded shut on the current with some aluminum plate?
Then having them turned down again to clean up the welds?


The buying masses have dictated spokes and thats that...

I suppose you could find some nice steelys but I personally don't like the look.

Shop around, find what you like, then make sure it fits. The standards are 5 spoke, a bunch of spokes Wirey crisscross spokes with large chrome lips(often gaudy colors), or some disastrous looking chrome monster.
