Trailer hitch a 2010 GT
#21
I traded in my 2010 GT with trailer hitch and it wasn't even mentioned. Did not hurt value. I bought a 2014 GT and I just ordered another Draw-Tite receiver for it. The 2010 pulled my little trailer like it wasn't even there. I can also mount a bike rack on it for my bicycle.
By the way, the very small area than needs trimming is totally underneath the car and out of view. If you didn't know beforehand you'd probably never know it.

I towed a 5x12 enclosed trailer with 2 motorcycles inside for over 3,500 miles without issue.
I have had hitches on the last 3 mustangs I have owned and while I don't try to trailer with them like they are a truck I am not afraid to trailer a #2000 load (maximum listed limit by Ford)
Much more common for me to use the 4x7 open trailer though as it weighs under #200 empty vs the enclosed weighing #980 empty. When I do need to trailer something.
