Default Speed bleeders question

Going to replace my pads with a set of HPS and flush the system using a set of speed bleeders. My question is do you typically leave the bleeders in place or put back on the OEMs once the job has been done since the others can be prone to leaking. Also, what brake fluid do you guys like? Thanks for the advice.

They speed bleeders are meant to be left in place otherwis you will have to rebleed the brakes when you swap the bleeders back to OEM, defeats the purpose.

Dot 3 is OEM, you can mix Dot 3 and Dot 4 although I would recommend flushing the Dot 3 and replacing it all with Dot 4. Higher boiling point, less prone to brake fade in high temps like Texas and AZ and high traffic/stop/go driving.

Do not mix Dot 5 with either Dot 3 or Dot 4.

That's what I figured, but I had seen some posts elsewhere were they had switched them back which didn't seem right. Any particular brand of dot 4?

Russell Speed bleeders dont leak once properly tightened down.
I cannot attest to other brands since the sealing end is very critical
and must be precisely machined.
