Default 2.57" m90 pulley

Will this pulley fit my m90 supercharger. Will I need a 90mm idler pulley to go with it if it fits? What exactly does press fit mean? Thanks

It says its for a Gen V eaton, which leads me to believe its an M90.

Also, you can see via the picture that the blower is small - again M90.

Do you need a bigger idler? Don't know. Call and ask.

Press fit means you need a special pulley puller tool to get the old pulley off, and a new one one. You can rent them at your local parts store.

Should a dyno have this tool because he'll be installing it.

Ha I just saw on this website that VMP upgrade a roushcharger to a 2.57" pulley and a 90mm idler, so I'm assuming the 90mm idler is needed to make up for the extra slack from a smaller SC pulley. Thanks for your help!

NP.

Dyno should have a puller, but I'd call and make sure first.

Yes a 90mm idler pulley will also be needed to keep the same belt. Now the M90 came with two versions of the pullies. from 05 to 08 it was keyed. 09 and up it is pressed fit. I got my SC last year so it is the 09 version. I went with the VMP 2.49" pulley with a 90mm idler.
You will need a tune and should be running a CAI type filter. eithe rthe roush or I run the steeda. The pulley makes a huge difference as it puts down more power and builds boost so much faster.

Yep how much boost did the 2.49 give you. I already bought the 2.57 with the 90mm idler, have te Roush CAI with my m90.

Near Worcester
Ok I will go to the regional section and check it out.

09 the stock pulley had me at 5.5 psi and the 2.49 went up to 8.9PSI. I really doubt 2.57 to 2.49 will yield much difference. Stock pulley numbers were 385rwhp 360rwtq new pulley 422rwhp 417 rwtq. I recommend using the stock pulley for about a month to insure that the SC has no issues. Once you change the pulley the warranty on the SC is voided.

So your saying I SHOULD have around 8 Psi? And the installer is putting the 2.57" right away so Owell. We'll see what happens
