JLT oil seperator for 13??
#2
I have one on my 05 and it works very well. You will have to add some copper brillo in it for it to really work. Before I heard about adding that it collected very little oil. now with the brillo it collects much more oil. The exit lines appear to be dry since adding the copper.
The copper gives the oil vapor something to cling to and not just pass on through.

I just installed the black JLT version on my 2011 GT. Very easy, I would recommend it. From the others here and elsewhere who have posted their results I think it's cheap insurance to help prevent carbon build-up in the heads & cylinders.

I have the JLT on both passenger and drivers side on my 2013 GT since the first 400 miles on the car. The passenger side one is probably the only one you need unless you are tracking the car. So far I've emptied the passenger side 3 times (every 1000 miles) and it's had two or so tablespoon of oil in it (eyeball estimate) each time. The driver’s side has had nothing, but what the heck it's a low cost insurance.
The JLT comes with the brillo pad type material stock (I don't know about all years but the one for the 2011-2013 does). The instructions state to clean it I believe every 5000 miles which means I'll clean it every 4000 miles.
