Default Bullitt mufflers question

I have a stock 2007 4.6 GT convertible and I wanted a little more sound from the exhaust. The Ford Racing Bullitt mufflers promises a throatier sound over the stock ones. I found a low mileage set for 150 bucks and im going to try them when they arrive. But, does anyone here feel there would be a noticable difference in sound? I would love a set of Borlas but.......

There should be a slight difference in sound.

I don't know why you would go with an OE exhaust though. You can find used Borlas for $300 if you look around.

IIRC the FRPP Bullitt mufflers are made by Borla for Ford. If that is the case, then they are my favorite sounding mufflers for non-cammed Mustang GTs.

Yep, they are the GTB's. I figured for 150 bucks I couldnt go wrong. I can always resell them if I dont like the sound. Im not looking for a loud sound but something a bit throatier than the stock ones.
Thanks for the replies.

Installed the GTB's today. Just what I was looking for and they only had 2k on them. Nice tone but not obnoxious. Great when your coming home at 3 am from work. Wont **** off the neighbors too much......
