Default New Mustang owner inside=)

Ok, I'm not going to make the mistake I made with my Z28(LS1) which was heads/cam/exhuast & so on which made it a pain in the A#@ to drive. With that said what are some basic Mods? Thanks

Tough to say what basic is. There are so many mods available. I started with axleback mufflers, cold air intake with tune, wheels/tires, stripes, hood struts, sequential turn signals (which I have since changed to chase lights). I have many more mods planned...it gets addicting....

Intake, charge motion plates, gears and a tune. You must tune to get the power out of any mod. That will put you low 13s or high 12 on a drag radial.

It seems most agree a CAI with a good tune is THE basic performance mod to start with. Then lowering springs and/or wheels for the ride and style. Other than that it really helps to know what your trying to get out of the car. Why bother with pullies if you end up supercharging (no sense in spending that money twice), or 4:10s if it's a daily driver and MPG is an issue to you, etc... And what's more important to you...handling, performance, style? Just some things to think about before you start dropping stuff in.

What I like about them is when you hit the brakes, it starts the sequence and when you let off the brakes it finishes the sequence. It's not just when you signal to change lanes.
