I pretty much did the same. Base GT with Brembos, and Recaros (mods I had in the plans anyway). I went through X-Plan and had AAA as an option as well. I went with the '13 because after looking at the '12s the dealer had I knew I'd be second-guessing myself. Same goes for the voice whipering in my ear "GT" too. I know my history with cars, so buying new was not a problem (I keep them a long time).

Basically, with spending this amount of money I always say do what makes you happiest within your budget.

Found a couple premium 11-12's with exhaust added and extra 75k warranty. All under 10kmiles (2 under 5k) asking 27-29k, could pick up for 25-27k. I'd avoid dealer fees and save over a grand in taxes. It's just making sure the title is clean and lein free.
I do want the premium, and I think I would regret the base 13.
