I would hope it would work on any vehicle equiped with an OBDII port.

You would think so...

But the MSD Dashawk I now have did not work on my friends 06 Didge truck
so I got it for a song and a deal from him and it worked on my 07 Mustang.

Go figure...

It's just a code reader only. Price is about right for something like that. Harbor Freight and Autozone have their $20 equivalents as well.

I bought this one and downloaded a program on my phone called Torque. It will tell you a lot about what's going on with your engine. It's a pretty cool program.

received my Autel MS300 and tried it out on the 2004 Tundra, works
perfectly. high quality unit, ham gives 2 thumbs up. reads and
clears DTC's.

This is what I did too. It gives you a zillion different things, not just trouble codes. Anybody that has a smartphone should look at this as a good option.
