i ordered the same x-pipe this weekend and from what i have been told you dont have to re-tune for it, but i am running a 125 shot so i think i will get it checked after installation just to make sure the air/fuel is still good and see just how much hp the pipe is worth.

well if you find out let me know.. or if there is a tune that will better the performance since i added the x pipe that would be nice.

your gonna love the sound.. its nuts. i only had it on for two days but i keep on wanting to drive my car just to hear it. or just at idle it makes a muscle car sound. good luck.

JT, The dealership did a pretty decent job. I had to take it back a couple of times to take care of some minor imperfections. Thanks for asking.

I had a C&L 93 octane Predator tune in mine, R17 I think and I noticed my throttle responce got worse after the x-pipe. I increased my MAF by 1 or 2 and it fixed the problem. I put the axle backs on after that and the throttle got real snappy. I doubt if you need to completly retune for an x-pipe seeing that it dosn't change the A/F too much. Sounds awesome though. Listen for the resonation btw. 2200 and 2500 rpms!

what did you do about the o2 sensors? does the check engine light stay on? that kind of worries me about changing this out. i hate to have someone ride in a new car and the check engine light was on. besides my girl would give me grief about it.

I tested this yesterday on the dyno and I did re-tune for it. Now I did not HAVE to retune for it but I did go leaner than I like with my normal custom tunes. Because of this I did make new tunes for the off road X pipe. I run the C&L on the car also that I did the testing on. I can say for the money I give this X-pipe thumbs up if you can handle the raspy sound. We sell them for $179 shipped. We will also be selling off road H pipes next month for $179 shipped for those who want to keep the deep agressive sound and still eliminate the cats.
