Default RE: O/D on or off???

At what time are you talking? I almost never take mine out of OD while street driving. But I never put it in while at the strip. However I use that little button on the side of my shifter in place of a standard. I do not hessitate to cut off OD for reasons of downshift or passing. BUT...I have done A LOT of tuning to my car to get the auto shift pattern where it feels like a real muscle car. I have a very aggressive downshift to help with braking and a pretty aggressive upshift to help with ...well you know!
