Default I am back!

I had to sell my beloved 2010 GT a couple of years ago. Last night I had a new edition to the familly. A 2012 GT. Like a whole different world compared to the '10. GT Premium, white w/ over the hood black stripes ( I have always loved them ), black leather interior, 3.73's, 6 speed manual, and Borla touring axle backs. Bought it used, and there are a couple of small problems that they are going to take off. The back window tint looks like I did it, and whoever owned it before had put American Racing wheels without bothering to replace the TPMS sensors. Found that AM sells a kit to correct this and they are going to install them for free. First question here is does this system really work? For now I am just hitting the reset button to clear the display. Only problem is that the little yellow light still stays on. When I put the Advancetrac into sport mode I also get the same yellow light tthat everyone else gets and I also get a green light on the display when the crusie is on. You more or less have a light on. I guess I went around the world to ask if it is worth the $200 to turn one light off, when you have others on as well. Anyfeed back would be welcome.

Had a nail in my sidewall that was causing a leak and it would cause the TPMS light/ding (got a new tire, no worries, TPMS warnings are gone). The system works, it's just a warning to keep your tires inflated. Helped me spot that nail in the sidewall that I didn't know was there. It's not a big deal, the new ones should take care of it, it's just not reading the tire pressure.
