Default How much should i pay for this????

Its a 2007 Mustang Gt/CS it has 78k miles. It has some upgrades from what the guy has told me. P1sc procharger, kooks longtube catback with flowmasters, 39lb fuel injectors, gt500 fuel pump. has is also throwing in a used brembo big brake system for the front only from a 2009 gt500 with 15k on them with some eibach sportline lowering springs and shocks he never got to install. he also showed me the dyno paper where its making 478hp to the wheels. exterior is all stock. and in great conditions with the usual rock chips. interior is in excellent condition. no tears. what sounds like a reasonable offer??

Personally I wouldn't pay more than 18K for it if it was in great condition.. I don't believe in performance modifications adding to the value of the vehicle.. I'll add on a little for the fuel upgrade as that helps in the long run... That's a lot of power for a stock 3v and no telling how he drove it. If he drove it soft it could last a long time, if he drove it hard all the time that engine and transmission can let go at any minute.. My offer would be 17K but I also wouldn't buy that car unless it had all paperwork to go with everything..

very true. I highly doubt i would ever buy a car off of someone that was supercharged just because of how they could drive it. Once people have alot of power under their hood, they do stupid things, and then try to sell their problems to someone else.

OP, i would be very careful, but if you think its meant to be, id start low at 17.5k but wouldnt pay more than 18.5k

Thanks guys. the car is owned by a 45-50 yr old man maybe older. he has other project cars laying around. so i wouldnt know if he drove it hard. he said its never seen a drag strip either. hes asking 20k, according to him the high mileage it due to lots of highway miles. he has some paperwork on the tuning, but he lost the paperwork on the procharger, i could always call and ask procharger how long ago it was bought. once again thanks guys and im still going to think about it.

Yeah 18k sounds like a good price. Just don't go over 20. Good luck on the car!

That car is pushing the limits if it is making 478rwhp on the stock bottom end.
