Default Mild Delimna, need to choose.

Ok so I currently own this.

2008 v6 premium: I got it used with 1200 miles on it. It is now nearing 40,000 miles. Love the look of it though not sure why the previous owner slapped Boss all over a v6. It sounds amazing (he put a CAI and new exhaust on)

I am looking into getting a GT pretty soon. I have found a 2008 gt that looks nearly identical to the one I own for 23000 and change. This one has about 6000 miles on it.

Now here is the question. Should I opt for the one above or go in for a new 2013? Pretty much torn between a look that I love, vs the new power of the 5.0 L gt's / A car I could make look the way I wanted.

What would you guys do? Any thoughts?

23,000 and change seems very high to me for a 2008, even with 6k miles. I just bought a 2010 GT (more miles) for the same price they are asking for this one you are looking at. IMO the 13's are ovr pricd as well, butwhat isn't these days.
Having said that,... go wih yor heart. Bt unless they dropped the price and added a substantial warranty,.... I think I would pass ovethe 2008.

$23,000.00 for a '08 is crazy. I'd keep looking.

I thought it was a bit steep as well. Was hoping I could talk them down from that number. I found multiple examples of , 2010's and even a few 2011's going for about the same price as well as other 2008's for about 20k . I think anything below 20k even for a 2008 is hard to come by at a dealership anyway.

If you haven't looked at the newer models, it maybe something to do before you decide. I am not a big fan of the '10+ rear ends but its something I would live with to have a newer interior and amenities, not to mention the extra power. $23k is way too high. If you really think about it, 2008 is already a 4 year old car even though it doesn't seem like it.

So I went and test drove a few 2013's today. They are pretty nice, however after looking at all of the otpions (and I'm very picky) we couldn't find one that had exactly what I wanted on it.
The ones we were able to find did not have the exact combination of all of these options / they had more options that I did not want.
My options would include:
401A package
19" Bright Machined Aluminum Wheels
Electronics Package
GT Accessory package #4 (pedestal spoiler)
and the 3.73 gears with limited slip axle (not sure if I want the whole track package or not)
Anyway after putting those options down if I do indeed want one to those specifications I would have to order it and the dealer and I agreed on a price of 35,500 OTD.

What do you think of that?

What do YOU think? Feel good about it? You're paying for it.not us.is this a daily driver or just a toy? if it is your daily driver, you might want the '13 for warranty reasons.besides that, which do you really like better? The new '13 is obviously a nicer car,but I personally still love the looks of the 05-09 stangs. If you really like the 08 I'd talk him down since winter is coming.
