cant bleed the brakes 05 GT

Default cant bleed the brakes 05 GT

Installed a new mater cycl. Now I have tried everything. bleeding, back bleeding, suction bleeding, positive pressure bleeding. doing this all, with at each junction.

Did you bench bleed the master cylinder before you installed it? It sounds like you have hydro locked the cylinder.

yup, did that, and redid everything today again. any one know where I can get the scan tool.

well the rear brakes bleed fine now, its the front brakes I am having a problem with.

Not sure if this will help or not. I had the same problem with an 05 Chevy pick-up. Finally found something online that basically said to drive down the road and slam on the brakes a few times. After that they bled fine. Had something to do with the ABS system. Might give it a try if you can't find any other remedies.

I tried that earlier today, with bearly any brakes. IE really spongy brakes. No dice.

I found that If I used my DIY pressure bleeder at the wheel cyl. I get a much frimer peddle. I will try activating the ABS again tomorrow. and will report back my findings. As much as I hate to say it, I am going to have to most likely take it in to the shop.

Is the bleed fitting plugged? Are you getting anything out of them?
