Default What type of exhaust do I have??

Just bought a 2006 Mustang GT. Exhaust doesn't sound like its stock but other than the tips, it looks stock. Or at least it looks like it to me. Headers are definitely stock. X-pipes look stock. Mufflers don't have any logos or anything. Just says "Made in USA". But it is a lot louder than any other stock mustang GT than I've heard. Anybody have any thoughts for me?

The popping tells me O/R x-pipe or high flow cats at least.. I don't remember 100% but I'm pretty sure the stock mid is an h-pipe and not an x-pip.. so are you sure you saw an x?

05-09 Mustang Gt's have H pipes stock. You may just have a aftermarket x pipe. But those tips to me dont look stock at all.. Post a picture of the mufflers so we can get a better idea

Here's another video where I try to get some shots of the mufflers and connecting pipes. Appreciate the feedback.

On second look, I don't think there are x-pipes on it. They look to me like H's. The pipes meet up with a connector in between, not like an x setup.

Also, I noticed on pictures on google that the factory mufflers have Ford logos on them and mine don't...

look like some jobber muffler mixed with a chrome tips, maybe ex owner had a muffler shop custome make him something, does it look liike something was cut between the tips and muffler, or the muffler and the rest of the pipe...it hard to say seriously, your muffler look stock, I just removed mine and they look pretty familiar to yours. id go with a custom muffler, maybe they gave a couple hit with a iron bar into the muffler to break some restriction.
